Vision Guided Robot Demonstration FeaturesParts fall randomly down an Aylesbury Automation conveyor. The Camera is trigged to identify the part and its location in X, Y and angle. This is transmitted to the robot over an Ethernet link. Both the robot and the camera have built in Ethernet ports. Tracking software in the robot monitors its position on the conveyor. When it gets in to reach of the robot the arm moves in and picks up the component. This can be seen in the video.
Vision Guided Robot System DescriptionThe system uses a conveyor to separate parts. The system consists of three components: A Conveyor fitted with DENSO motor encoder;
A Cognex In-Sight 5000 Series Camera to recognise the location of the parts;
And a DENSO robot to ensure the parts are in the correct orientation for processing.
