We have teamed with companies to provide a robot solution for most applications. Selective or spot soldering of PCB connections by SCARA Robot.
When flow soldering is not possible then soldering with a iron or flame or laser can be used to make a solder connection. Using a SCARA robot to manipulate the soldering tip, or using the robot to hold the component.
DENSO robots have been used with Apollo Seiko and Spirig Microflame Heads

Applying a bead of material or sealant to a part is shown. In this application the part is moved under the nozzle, but the reverse can be done of the robot moving the nozzle.
A precise solution to the potentially messy application of sealant onto a housing cover was demonstrated by AA Robotics.
