Spot soldering PCB Connection by Robot, read more to see the video. When flow soldering is not possible then soldering with a iron or flame or laser can be used to make a solder connection.
This demo proved the principle of providing a repeatable joint that was later adopted in a full machine produced by AA Robotics System Integrator Altec Engineering Limited at TRW.

Applying a bead of material or sealant to a part is shown. In this application the part is moved under the nozzle, but the reverse can be done of the robot moving the nozzle.
A precise solution to the potentially messy application of sealant onto a housing cover was demonstrated by AA Robotics.
