We are pleased to announce that as members of BARA, the British Automation and Robot Association, we have now joined the PPMA. The BARA Council held an Extraordinary General Meeting on 26th February 2009 at Warwick University. This was in order to vote on the resolution for the BARA membership to join the PPMA and for the BARA identity to exist as a special sub-group within the PPMA with representation on the PPMA Board. All members were welcome, but only supplier members were able to vote. The vote was taken and the result was in favour of joining the Processing & Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA). Further details will be made available in due course. The Resolution was sent out to all members on 4th February 2009 together with the EGM overview from the PPMA and the Memorandum of Understanding.
