We are pleased to announce that as members of BARA, the British Automation and Robot Association, we have now joined the PPMA.

The BARA Council held an Extraordinary General Meeting on 26th February 2009 at Warwick University. This was in order to vote on the resolution for the BARA membership to join the PPMA and for the BARA identity to exist as a special sub-group within the PPMA with representation on the PPMA Board. All members were welcome, but only supplier members were able to vote. The vote was taken and the result was in favour of joining the Processing & Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA). Further details will be made available in due course.

The Resolution was sent out to all members on 4th February 2009 together with the EGM overview from the PPMA and the Memorandum of Understanding.

DENSO Robots used to speed up production at MSP.

AA Robotics speeds up the process for MSP (14/03/2008)

MSP Ltd, the precision turned parts manufacturer, has increased its production by 15% on a single shift after taking delivery of a DENSO 4-axis machine-tending robot from AA Robotics. The robot loads and unloads components from pallets and holds them while sensors, which measure height and diameter, check their quality.

The DENSO HS-4555 robot were supplied by AA Robotics. The system was produceed by AA Robotics System Integrator Aylesbury Automation Limited.
