These new 6-axis robots are characterised as being extremely:
❚ FAST (up to 10,000mm/s)
❚ PRECISE (±0.02mm and ±0.03mm)
❚ FLEXIBLE (install them on floors, ceilings or walls)
In addition:
❚ Their extremely slim and compact design allows you to save on installation space.
❚ The motor and encoder cable option to connect underneath the robot base.
❚ Payloads up to 7kg, delivering you the best performance possible.
The optional “Communication Interface” allows users to connect Gigabit Ethernet devices and Servo Grippers easily and directly to the robot flange, thanks to innovative communication internal wiring. This gives users the advantage of avoiding the risk of cables and connections tangling up within their surroundings.
You can employ these robots in extremely wet conditions thanks to their optional protection class IP67 (which resists even high pressure washing and cutting chips).

VP-G2 STERILE ROBOT
Requirements from the pharmaceutical and food industries for industrial robots to function in a sterile environment, at a high level of cleanliness, have been increasing. The newly developed DENSO VP-G2 Series of Sterile Robots are suitable for sterile environments. Purpose designed, utilising special coating and sealing technologies, enables the VP-G2 to be installed where Ethyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) are used as cleaning agents. Its cleanroom class P100 (*a) and smooth surface does not allow liquid entrapment. Additionally, this sterile robot meets pharmaceutical guidelines GAMP (*b). Connections are protected / isolated under the base of the robot.
The “VP-G2 Sterile Robot” main features are as follows:

ROBOT MEETS iPHONE (September 2009)
This has to be the latest "Ultimate Gadget", a DENSO VS-6552 6 axis Robot controlled by iPhone!
As the video shows, utilising a WIFI connection, the iPhone has been programmed to control the DENSO Robot in real time using the b-CAP over TCP/IP. This allows commands to be sent directly from the "app" running on the iPhone. The bCAP protocol is supported as part of ORiN 2. ORiN2 is the library for allowing programs like .net C++, C#, Vb etc. to be able to move and control the DENSO robot.
