Arm Description
The NEW Academic / Training robot from DENSO is a tiny 6-axis robot (plus gripper) intended for learning and training purposes in the academic field and in factory automation.
• Affordable price even for small budgets • Easy to transport thanks to its compact design and light weight (around 600 gr) • Easy to program using real programming software - WINCAPS III (DENSO robot programming, monitoring and simulation software) - C++, C#, VB, Java, etc. via ORiN2 - b-CAP via Ethernet TCP / IP or UDP (OS and programming language independent) - NI LabVIEWTM Software; thanks to a special extension library for DENSO robots by ImagingLab
• Possible to develop vision applications via ORiN Vision (OpenCV Provider) • No need of external controllers; a microcomputer is already installed in the robot arm • The robot operation can be done from a normal PC or laptop, or a PLC (easy connection with a RS232C to USB cable) • No safety fences needed • Model without microcomputer available; this allows the robot user to gain control over the robot arm motors
