Arm Description
With a small footprint of 150 x 150mm the HS Series of DENSO robots can carry up to 5Kg with a maximum moment of inertia of 0.1kgm2. The low mass arms have an approximate total weight of 20Kg. The HSS-Series is ANSI and CE compliant, making it suitable for European deployment. Outstanding speed and repeatability. Each robot has 4 air pipes in the arm for gripper control and 19 electrical signals for feedback. There is a hole through the Z axis for air and signals. The robot is able to apply 98N for up to one second to force fit components. The HSS-4545 robot is ceiling mounted and has a position repeatability of ±0.02mm, a total weight of only 20kg and a range of options to suit almost any environment.

Arm Features
The Robot is CE marked and UL listed. It has Clean Room Class 10 and Clean Room Class 1 versions making is ideal for the pharmaceutical and bio-medical applications.
The robot has 4 air pipes through to the upper arm and 19 electrical signals. It has a hollow Z axis shaft for services down to the gripper

Where can you use it?
The robot is ideal for mounting inside a machine to do pick and place applications, typically doing this in less than one second. It has a small foot print so does not use up much space on the machine bed. Its high speed and repeatability makes it the ideal pick and place device.
The RC7 controller could also control you machine, as it has multi tasking software, with force control Device net, Profibus and Ethernet TCP/IP available
The system is also easily connect the a vision system such as Cognex to guide the robot for the pick up or place positions. It has conveyor tracking for 2 conveyors so can operate on the move.
