In order to satisfy our needs for vision we have adopted the Cognex Range of Vision systems. We supply products from the In-Sight range of vision sensors and the Checker range of part sensors. With these two products the majority of machine applications can be catered for. Cognex Corporation, the world's leading supplier of machine vision systems, announced that it has entered into a System Integrator (SI) agreement with AA Robotics.

There are two options with Cognex depending on the complexity of the application.

The basic range of Sensors are the Checkers. These producst are for very high speed applications and where you are checking a products completeness. The checker has basic Brightness and pattern matching tools. They also include a guage tool to check the size of an object.

The InSight range of sensors are the next level. These can inspect, measure and find patterns. They are housed in an indutrtial mounting and are smart sensors. The sensors can have I/O or ethernet and serial communications.
